Rebecca Ward is a Senior Attorney with Microsoft Corporation where she has counseled software developers about IP issues for the last 7 years. During that time she spent a year and a half in Hyderabad, India as Microsoft’s Director of Intellectual Property and Licensing for India. Prior to that she taught at Drake University Law School, was in private practice for 14 years doing corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, and worked in-house as an IP lawyer with Principal Life Insurance Company.
